I am thrilled to present this magnificent Old European Cut diamond engagement ring. The centerpiece is an extraordinary 1.70 carat old mine cut diamond with excellent clarity and near-colorless brilliance. This diamond, over 130 years old, remains in its original, untreated state.
The modern shank is crafted in beautiful 18 carat gold, adorned with small sparkling diamonds that enhance its elegance. Old European Cut diamonds of this size are exceptionally rare, making this an incredible discovery.
Why are these diamonds so rare? When the brilliant cut diamond was introduced, most Old European Cut diamonds were recut to meet the new standard. Finding an untouched diamond of this size is truly remarkable.
The color, sparkle, and beauty of this ring are exceptional, leaving me utterly amazed.

Condition: The main diamond, over 150 years old, has been reshanked into a modern ring. Despite its age, the diamond's condition is excellent. There are what looks like minor scrapes around the side (facet), and the lab has advised against buffing or touching them, as it could devalue the diamond. These marks are characteristic of the original hand-cut craftsmanship. The condition of the new shank and side diamonds is also excellent.
